The south face of Kang Nachugo (6735m) came into view just before we reached Na in the Rolwaling Valley. After a failed attempt on the south face, Kang Nachugo was climbed for the first time on October 17, 2008 by Americans David Gottlieb and Joe Puryear via the West Ridge, just 7 days after I took this photo.
